On the Second floor this front facing Superior double room has been redecorated for 2020 season.This room has a large metal framed King size bed, with memory foam mattress for a luxurious and comfortable sleep. We have painted a feature wall and upcycled some of the furniture in colours sympathetic to the Victorian character of the house. We have added a comfortable tub chair to relax in, as well as replacing the side lamps and curtains. The en-suite bathroom has a bath with handheld shower attachment for washing your hair. The bathroom has a low sloping ceiling and therefore the shower can only be used seated in the bath. Indulge in a long soak in comfort in the bath using the complementary toiletries after a full day exploring.

Fantastic stay
We had a marvelous stay at Longmead House. The accommodation was spotless and the bed was super comfortable. The variety on offer for breakfast was amazing: the home-baked bread and home-made granola were delicious.

Nick and Melanie were very warm and friendly. The house is in the perfect location for a quick walk to shops, restaurants and walking routes. The room was made up to a high standard, and the breakfasts were a highlight. I would definitely stay again!
